My Life In Numbers

A few months ago Steph did a numbers post which I loved and found fascinating so I decided to do my own numbers post. It's not especially easy to come up with numbers to define your life but I gave it my best shot.

810 - Days I've lived at the beach.

4 - Tattoos I currently have on my body.

12 - Years I worked at my last job and the longest I've spent at any job.

80 - Number of degrees my AC is set on, even when it feels like 107 outside.

22 - Average number of hours I spend in my house per day

18 - Average number of those hours spent in my master bedroom

10,957 - Digital pictures I've backed up on ThisLife.com.

11 - Years I lived in Michigan before moving to the south.

32 - Actual age I was when when Little K was born contrary to what she believes.

16 - Years since I've spoken to my father.

21 - Number of houses I can remember living in since I was born.

63 - Days until my kid starts school.

3 - Years until my sister moves back state side.

What does your life in numbers look like?

  1. I love these kinds of posts! Wait what is This Life?! I think I need to get on it. Wow 80 is hot, but I guess not compared to 107!

  2. OMG you must be really zen if you can keep your house at 80... though I am cold natured and could probably acclimate. 21 houses seems like a lot. You're probably a champion packer by this point!

  3. I love the numbers posts, they are always so fun! 80 degrees though???? You would die at my house. We keep it at 66-68 in the winter and a balmy 72 in the summer. I cant stand being hot in my own house and I am so hot natured that it doesn't take much. I am hoping to up the number of tattoos on my body this summer!

  4. Some of these numbers are crazy!!! You're definitely saving energy with your AC at 80F. Do you have windows open most of the time? Take advantage of the ocean breeze? And dasalotofpictures! Wow, 16 years since you've spoken to your father. Not to pry, but any plans to talk to him in the future? You don't have to answer that. And whoa, 21 houses?! Great idea for a post from Steph and you did it wonderfully and interestingly!

  5. Somehow I did not know you were from Michigan. I'm always interested in Northerners who move down South, because it's been such a culture shock for me just to visit Ryan's family. 21 is a lot of house. I just did a quick count - I'm only up to 11, and I thought I had moved a lot!

  6. I need to brush up my back tattoo. This reminds me. I have to figure out what to do with it.

Are you on the school countdown?

    21 houses! That's a lot of moving.
