Sea La Vie - 4/1

Sea La Vie

This Week In Beach Life

// The guests have gone home and I have my house back, that means if I want to walk around without pants on I can. I hate having to put pants and bras on when I don't have to leave my house. I celebrated the departure of my guests with Chinese takeout, no cooking, no clean up, and I can eat it without my pants on!

// This week was heavenly with no school, no T-Ball, and no karate. The only thing we had scheduled was the Dr. Seuss Pajamaram birthday party at the library and since it doesn't require I wear real pants I didn't feel like it was such a chore.

// I finally finished The Library At Mt. Char and moved on to The Nest, I'm about 100 pages in and so far it's not a knock my socks off story but it's good enough to keep my attention. Next up The Passenger.

// I showed off my new artwork in short sleeve shirts a few times this week but need to get some good tattoo sunscreen before summer, any recommendations from my tattooed friends?

This Week in Link Love

My links are few this week, I don't know if it was the distraction of spring break or that every story is about the presidential race lately. Every time I read a new news story about Iceland I wish it were warm there so I could live there forever. I like to watch Tiny House hunters and I can see myself (really just me) living in a tiny house so anytime I can see the inside of someone's tiny creation I check it out. I'm in love with this converted school bus and think it would make the perfect RV replacement for travel.

Happy Weekending!

  1. Guests make life hard sometimes. I always miss the freedom to wear and look however I want in my own house! Glad you had a restful spring break!

  2. I bet you're so pumped to have your house back to normal! I don't think I could live in a tiny house, I'd feel claustrophobic!

  5. I am with Steph, I was going to say I use a minimum of SPF 50, usually 70 the first few times I am out. I have used Banana Boat Sport in the past but I want to try Alba Botanical this year. I will let you know how that goes.I am a big fan of no pants, so sounds like you had a great week!
