Sea La Vie - 3/4
// Saturday morning we were back in swim class after what felt like a really long break, somehow K is in level 3 although she still can't swim. How can you not swim by the final level of swim class?
// Wednesday K and I participated in walk to school day, there was a light rain with temps in the 60's which made for a pleasant spring'ish walk.
// On Thursday at lunch Tyson and went to see a home in our current neighborhood that's for sale well under our budget. I asked several questions the real estate agent didn't know the answers to (weird or maybe I watch too much HGTV?) but he promised to find out. After getting home we decided if he could get our questions answered we wanted to make an offer, so I called him back with two additional questions and let him know if we could get them answered we'd be ready to make a cash offer. I felt like such a wheeler and a dealer but probably I just watch too much HGTV. As of right now (Thursday 5 minutes after I called the real estate agent) I'm sitting here with fingers and toes crossed but trying not to get too hopeful in case it doesn't work out. There were already a lot of people driving by but I'm hoping a few things that appeal to me put those others off.
// This weekend we have another kiddie party with friends (yayyy), outside at the park (double yayyy).
I use Google a lot so this article about Google search tips had lots of interesting information in it. I love the idea of vacations even though I don't want to go on them, still looking at these literary Airbnb rentals made me want to get in my car and drive. Finally, 27 Things You'll Understand If You're Dating a Chef, 5, 6, 8, and 9 are oh so true.

Fingers crossed for you on the house! This is the perfect time of year to be outside in TX, too, so I can feel your excitement for the weekend. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the offer and whoa, a cash offer, that is wheelin and dealin. If I were the seller, I'd be stupid not to take a cash offer!
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed for you!!!! Cash offers are often quite attractive so hopefully that works in your favor.
