Searching For Answers?
One of my favorite blog-related things to do is to look at the search terms that have led people to my blog. Google doesn't give out as much information on this as they use to but I still get some goodies.
prince of tides wow - What? I talked about the book The Prince of Tides here but it definitely wasn't a wow for me. Unless you're like wow I can't believe she didn't like that book? Just for you, I might give it a try again some day!
bag tide chart - Hmmmm I don't think they make those, I can get you a tide chart for your bag though if you need one.
don't mess with a taurus - Yes you found that here and it's oh so true, don't do it, Just don't!
beach love scenes - ummm awkward, don't have any of those for your viewing pleasure.
dorothea benton frank books - I have reviews of her books here and here but if you want the really good stuff head back to the books she wrote in the late 90's and early 2000's.
moon over manifest - I love this book trend in my search terms, you can find my review here, but in summary, read this book.
taurus dictators - There were a ton of scary Taurus people, you can read about them in the post above.
what does sea la vie mean - In case I haven't defined it before, Sea Life. I use it as the title of my Friday posts that update you one what's been going on in my life by the sea.
catch the dream - I can totally help with that, you can start by reading here and then ask any questions you may have.
how to raise a reader - One of my favorite posts, glad someone else is interested in the topic too.
What crazy search terms bring people to your blog?

Hahahaha it is always funny to see how people stumble upon your blog. You sure as heck should be proud of the raise a reader post!!!! A lot of people find my blog because they were searching for an ecard I used.
ReplyDeleteI never look up my search terms, since I stopped offering sponsorships like a year ago I stopped going to my stats area. I need to go see the fun.
ReplyDeleteYours make a lot of sense! Mine are random - one is "sweet tomatoes restaurant coupons." I never eat at Sweet Tomatoes, so I'm sorry to disappoint. Apparently someone from Buzzfeed was looking for a gif, found it on my blog, and used it and gave me credit so I'm getting traffic from that. So weird.
ReplyDeleteLove it haha! I haven't looked at mine awhile but this definitely makes me want to again!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting terms but at least they found ya right? I've hardly ever looked at what brings people to my site. Maybe I will now :).
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm an ignorant fool and have no idea how to find such information. But, I sure enjoyed your post about it! :)
ReplyDeleteI love seeing how people find my blog,
ReplyDeleteI haven't checked it awhile though, I need to get on that!
hahahaha i am laughing at the 'what does sea la vie mean' and wondering if people mean c'est la vie and it is one of those things that people get wrong (like might as well being 'midas whale' that one always makes me laugh).
