My Weekly Tell All
It's confession day!
// The school drop off/pick up line makes me stabby. Get your ass to the end of the line, stop playing candy crush, and pull forward until you can't anymore if you want to find your kid. Why is this so hard?
// I LOVE my new car it's the nicest vehicle I've ever owned, that doesn't stop the buyers remorse. So many plans for the car payments I wouldn't be making, not a single one was a replacement car payment.
// We had open health insurance enrollment in August, I can't stop thinking about the $400 additional I don't see every month because my health insurance company gets it. Research shows the law only requires the insurance to be affordable for individuals, screw those families with kids they probably don't need to eat anyway.
// I took Friday off this week not realizing I'd be off on Monday too, hello three day work week you sexy beast.
// I'm slowly but surely saving my change for a new tattoo, the plan is to tattoo myself for my birthday. Donations welcome.
// If you have Trump sign in your yard or a sticker on your car I just assume you're an asshole.
// I turned my oven on to pre-heat the other night and it shot sparks across the kitchen, yayy for being a renter sometimes.
// All my neighbors think I'm a bitch so I do everything to encourage that label when I see them, that way they won't talk to me.
What are you confessing this week?

Ughhhh why are people so stupid??? And WHY is health insurance so damn expensive???? It is cheaper for Chris and I to have our own plans than for one of us to have a family plan. It makes zero sense. We pay enough to the government for our taxes...and the health insurance of all those who are unemployed and not trying to find work that they could cut us a break somewhere, you know????
ReplyDeletethe school had to send out a mass email to all parents to stop stopping in the middle of the damn road to drop the kids off! they even hired police to monitor the area and guess what? parents are still asshats and do it anyway!
ReplyDeleteI would have major rage at school pick up lines.
ReplyDeleteHealth insurance isn't very affordable for individuals, either...at least not at my job. :(
ReplyDeleteI feel you on the car payments. UGH. I was talking to someone about having kids and how they're expensive a few weeks ago and I brought up that my insurance would be so much more expensive and they were like "Um who thinks of that?" but it's such a huge difference it needs to be considered, right? Thanks for validating my point.
ReplyDeleteThe school pick up and drop off lines are the worst part of my day. I have zero tolerance for those assholes.
ReplyDeleteHello 3 day work week!!!! Seriously, I can't believe there are actual supporters of Trump and that he actually came out ahead in the last few caucuses (I think I said that right).
ReplyDeleteHuzzah for 3 day work weeks! I'm with you on the Trump assumptions. Seriously, if you can support that idiocy then I have no other expectations for your basic human decency or common sense. What are you planning for the tattoo?
ReplyDeleteUgh really people actually have Trump signs in their yards? Yuck. People with children definitely get screwed with insurance as do older people (not quite senior but over 40) What some of the people at work are paying for their children is more than my insurance.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't do carpool lines. I can't stand when I'm leaving downtown and people don't drive aggressively enough for my liking to make a light, etc... haha! Like cmon, we all want to get outta here- let's be efficient!
ReplyDeletehahaha to your neighbours and being bitchy. yep.
ReplyDeletehealth insurance sucks. it is the number 1 reason we'll move to Oz, if we do.
ew to people and Trump. if he becomes president, that will be the number 1 reason we move haha.
I pay $300 a month for health insurance for just myself so....¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Not affordable for anyone.
ReplyDeleteSo exciting about the car! I totally get how you feel because I'm going to be getting one in the spring after the wedding. Although I'm SUPER pumped about it I'm also a little bummed that I'll be making car payments now. BOO!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen any Trump yard signs yet but if I did I would be tempted to steal it and hit the first dumpster I could find! I'm with you with the neighbor thing Too!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a perfectly legitimate response to seeing a Trump yard sign. The last confession was my favourite. Our next door neighbour complained about our dogs one time, saying that our dogs caused his dogs to bark. What?!? He said "The people before you didn't have dogs, and mine never barked. Now, yours are here and they bark all the time." And, he said it like he was legitimately angry about it. Since that day, every time I see him, I give him the evil eye.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what tattoo you get!! And hahaha we never see any of our neighbors which I'm fine with, I'm not a people person. If we ever move again, I told Brian I'm fine with living in the middle of nowhere.
