At The Present Time
Reading - Attachments by Rainbow Rowell, after reading two of her books I decided I should leave none of her books unread. Next up Scarlet the 2nd book in The Lunar Chronicles.
Wanting - My tax refund, the federal government rocks that stuff but my state not so much. They won't be issuing refunds until after 3/1 so they can prevent fraud. Good thing they told all the criminals so they can work their fraudulent activities around the states timeline.
Loving - The warm winter weather this year! I know some of you love snow but I'm all about days that above 65 degrees since I live at the beach.
Hating - The warm weather means that the yard has to continuously be sprayed for fleas so we don't end up with a winter house infestation.
Thinking - About what life will look like with a kid out of school this summer. She never told me she was bored until she started school, it could be a long hot summer.
Planning - Our trip to the Lego KidsFest in Charlotte the middle of this month. K's looking forward to all things Legos and I'm looking forward to giving my new anti-travel anxiety medicine a test run.
Wondering - Why some people feel like they can't be a happy person without a significant other. If you learn to love yourself when you're alone happiness will find you.
Looking Forward To: Spring flower planting, all this warm weather gives me spring fever.
What's going on with you at the present time?

Ahh we need to do our taxes! And I promise that any warm weather we get up here I will send it straight down to you, I love the cold and am not looking forward to spring!
ReplyDeleteIf you can't be happy alone, I don't think you can be happy with someone either.
ReplyDeleteI am annoyed that warm winter means ticks, fleas, bugs, mold, etc. won't really die.
hahahaha to the criminals and fraud. hilarious. i agree about being happy with yourself. i used to be that person when i was younger, and i'm glad i had the time in between relationships to figure it out. you need to enjoy your own company and be happy on your own i think. i loved attachments!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read anything by Rainbow Rowell yet, but Attachments is the one that I have the most interest in!
ReplyDeleteI still can't get over how gorgeous your pictures are. You should print them all in a coffee table book and sell it! Honestly, they're that beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAttachments was not my usual read, but I absolutely loved it! I find with Rainbow Rowell books, everyone has their own particular faves and 1 that didn't quite do it for them. Landline didn't work for me, but Attachments, E&P, and Fangirl were adorable.
ReplyDeleteAttachments was a good book! And that photo is absolutely stunning!
ReplyDeletei had a friend who ALWAYS needed a boyfriend and if she didn't have one, she was basically your shadow. i was always telling her that she needs to be alone, to discover herself! it kind of drove me crazy because she could NEVER be alone. it's was like CAN YOU STOP CALLING ME FOR 10 MINUTES BECAUSE I NEED A BREAK FROM YOU!! lol
ReplyDeleteUgh... I actually OWE this year. Thousands. Hold me.
