Signs, signs, everywhere there's signs...oh wait wrong kind of sign. Today I'm linking up with Nadine to talk about my sign, my zodiac sign. My sign is Taurus and as the old saying goes if you mess with the bull you get the horns. So what is there to know about me as a Taurus? I've read several Taurean profiles over the years and the big trait that sticks out to me always is stubborn. It's always listed as a weakness and in some cases it is but being stubborn is a strength in many cases too so suck it astrology.
How can stubbornness be good? Well I'm hella independent for one, I'm perfectly fine being alone and in fact at times I even love it. I'm not a leader but I'm not a follower either, I'm happiest when marching to the beat of my own drum. Independence rules the world!
I've got unmatched perseverance, my stubborn streak doesn't allow me to give up. If I want something badly enough I'll find a way to make it happen, living at the beach use to be just a dream but with stubbornness and perseverance I've made it my reality.
Granted there are times when my stubbornness isn't really a pro, hello scathing temper where did you come from? Still I'm glad that the stubbornness of a Taurus was granted to me, I wouldn't be me without it.

So Chris is a Taurus too! As far as compatibility goes, Leo and Taurus is not the ideal combination for spouses but great for friends and colleagues haha. Can you imagine his stubbornness and mine combined? I love that you are taking ownership of yours and saying it is a good quality. It so can be at times, it just means you stand up for what you believe in and aren't easily swayed. ReplyDeleteHahaha! Your list of famous Taureans cracked me up. I looked up famous Cancers and the ones that stuck out were Robin Williams, Frida Kahlo, King Henry the VIII, and George W. I love that you turned stubbornness into a good thing. I totally agree with you, by the way, the flip side of stubbornness is perseverance and that's definitely a good thing!

ReplyDeleteI agree with the working quote, that is how it should be. I am a full on Virgo, it fits me very well but I also have some Leo traits since I am right on the border.
